Kylie Jenner is
Teen Vogue’s latest cover star, and the 17-year-old wasn’t shy about dishing it out in her interview. The
Keeping Up With the Kardashians star gave a heartfelt interview talking about her sisters, her self-esteem issues, and when she’ll start a family of her own. Kylie’s cover story was shot by Giampaolo Sgura in the deserts of Palmdale, California and she appears alongside her BFFs Telana Lynum and Anastasia Karanikolaou.
Though Kylie is known for going bold with her makeup (she even admitted that it takes her two and half hours to get ready for a night out) she appears in
Teen Vogue with a fresh face that highlights her natural beauty. She wasn’t always confident, however, and revealed “I feel like I’ve heard the worst anyone can say about me over and over every day. So it’s like my self-esteem definitely wasn’t good at a point, I guess?” going on to say, “especially having the most beautiful sisters in the world…I just try to find what makes me feel good and be as confident as possible.”
Kylie also gave Teen Vogue a glimpse at her ten year plan saying, “When I look to the far future and decide to have kids, I need to have a million girls. Ten years from now—in 2025—I hope I have a kid.” As for the immediate future? The star is ready to strike it out on her own. The 17-year-old––turning 18 on August 10––stated, “I'm moving out when I turn 18. I'm ready to live on my own. It's a really big step, but I'm ready.”
