Bafta TV Tea Party 2014 Los Angeles
This year’s British Academy of Television and Film Arts (BAFTA) TV Tea Party was held at the Garden Terrace of the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. It was, as always, a classy and star-studded affair.
Downton Abbey actress Michelle Dockery arrived in a colorful Roland Mouret Resort 2015 coral and white crop top with a graphic-print, draped skirt, which she paired with Christian Louboutin “So Kate” aqua pumps, and accessorized with aqua earrings and a clutch by Anya Hindmarch. “It’s lovely. It’s always such a nice event to come to for Emmy Week. I get to see all my friends—and lots of Brits of course,” said Dockery.
British actress Minnie Driver also attended. “I love that there’s a BAFTA here in Los Angeles. It’s a great community and it’s lovely. It’s nice when you’re nominated, being surrounded by Brits,” she gushed.
Uzo Aduba, of popular Netflix show Orange is the New Black fame, spoke about the event: “Being here to be able to celebrate great television now is a more global experience; it’s the U.K. as well. BBC America is an incredible outlet. BBC general and all the different pockets of it are just incredible programming. There are also shows that I have loved, coming over from overseas. I just want to come and support television in a global setting.”
