Let’s Be Cops Movie Premiere Los Angeles

American comedy movie Let’s Be Cops had its red-carpet movie premiere in Los Angeles. Damon Wayans, Jr. and Jake Johnson star as two longtime friends who feel as though they haven’t reached their full potential and “made it” in L.A. Dressing up as police officers for a fancy dress party, they come to enjoy the perks and attention they get, and decide to continue the charade. Plenty of hijinks and funny moments ensue until it all gets very real and the pair of friends must decide what to do.

Samara Saraiva, Jon Lajoie, Julianne Hough, Hannah Simone, James D'Arcy, Joshua Ormond, Damien Dante Wayans, screenwriter Simon Kinberg, Derek Waters, Nina Dobrev and Natasha Leggero all turned up for the event.

Nina Dobrev, best known for her role as Elena Gilbert on The Vampire Diaries, also stars in the movie as Josie, Damon Wayans, Jr.’s character’s love interest. The pretty brunette turned up the heat at the Los Angeles premiere as she wore a pretty orange, black and gold, geometric-patterned minidress. Her best friend Julianne Hough also sizzled on the red carpet, wearing a peplum playsuit with a deep v-shape cut out in the back.

British actor James D’Arcy plays the film’s villain, and also looked dapper on the red carpet.
