Looks of the day

It was movies galore as some of Hollywood's hottest stars hit awards shows, premieres and TV studios in New York City, Los Angeles and Paris. The fashion world was out on the town too! Supermodel trio Coco Rocha, Naomi Campbell and Karolina Kurkova were all dressed to kill out promoting their new fashion TV show "The Face" (set to air in February this year). Here's our selection of the looks of the day.

Emma Stone
Emma Stone was at the premiere for her new movie, 'Gangster Squad' at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Emma, who stars alongside Sean Penn and Ryan Gosling in the film, wore a Lanvin Pre-Fall 2013 red woven silk and brocade dress, and she finished the look with a pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels.

'Zero Dark Thirty' actress Jessica Chastain was at the 'Late Show With David Letterman' in New York City. She appeared on the show wearing this beautiful Antonio Berardi blue dress and Rupert Sanderson shoes.

Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington was in France for the premiere of the new Quentin Tarantino movie 'Django Unchained'. The actress wore a Rochas Spring 2013 strapless gown to the Grand Rex theater in Paris.

Melanie Laurent
Melanie Laurent went for a slightly lower-key look at the 'Django Unchained' premiere in Paris. The French actress wore all black, apart from a pair of bright blue metallic shoes.

Rachel Weisz
Rachel Weisz attending the New York Film Critics Circle Awards where she picked up a prize for her work on 'The Deep Blue Sea'. The British actress wore a Prada dress, Charlotte Olympia shoes, and carried a Jimmy Choo bag.

Matthew McConaughey
Matthew McConaughey was also at the Crimson Club in New York for the Film Critics Circle Awards where he picked up the 'Best Supporting Actor' award for his work in 'Bernie' and 'Magic Mike'. The 43-year-old star wore a Dolce & Gabbana three-piece look.
